Attribute & Rarity System
In our server, equipment items can randomly receive special attributes that enhance their base stats. This system adds uniqueness and value to each item, making every loot or quest reward potentially powerful and rewarding.
How Does It Work?
Items can roll attributes from four rarity tiers:
- Common – Basic bonus, always applied through Common Stones or guaranteed systems.
- Rare – Moderate bonuses with lower chance.
- Epic – High bonuses, rare drops.
- Legendary – Extremely powerful attributes, very low drop chance.
Attributes can enhance your stats in different ways, such as:
- +Attack / +Defense / +Armor
- +Accuracy, Critical Chance, Multi Shot
- +Fire / Energy / Earth / Death Damage or Resistances
- +Max Health or Mana (flat or %)
- +Skills (Sword, Axe, Club, Distance, Shielding, Magic Level)
- +Spell Damage, Mana Shield, Stun Chance, etc.
Where Do Attribute Items Come From?
- Monster Loot – Monsters have a chance to drop items with attributes automatically.
- Quests – Some quests have a chance to reward attribute-enhanced equipment.
- Attribute Stones – Special items that allow you to roll, change, or upgrade item attributes manually.
Task Point Exchange
Players can earn Task Points through the client task module (no commands like !task
or !taskpoints
are required). These points can be exchanged with a special NPC for Attribute Stones.
Available Stones:
Stone | Description | Cost (Task Points) |
---|---|---|
Upgrade Crystal | Guarantees an attribute roll (can roll rare, epic or legendary randomly) | 10 |
Enchant Crystal | Adds a new attribute if space is available | 5 |
Alter Crystal | Replaces the last attribute on the item | 5 |
Cleanse Crystal | Removes all attributes from the item | 3 |
Fortune Crystal | Rerolls the last attribute (chance to improve or worsen it) | 5 |
Rarity Visuals
When an item is successfully enhanced, a colored text will appear indicating its rarity:
- Common
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
These colors are also used in animated text when looting an item with rarity!
Critical Chance Scaling by Rarity
Every item with rarity automatically gets an additional bonus to Critical Chance depending on its rarity:
- Common: +3% Critical Chance
- Rare: +5% Critical Chance
- Epic: +7% Critical Chance
- Legendary: +10% Critical Chance
This Critical Chance is automatically applied when equipping the item.
Critical Damage Explained
In addition to Critical Chance, items can also have Critical Damage as an attribute. This stat determines how much extra damage is dealt when a critical hit is triggered.
Important: Critical Damage applies to all forms of damage, including physical attacks, ranged attacks, spells, and runes.
How does it work?
The bonus percentage of Critical Damage depends on the attribute assigned to the item. For example, if your weapon has +15% Critical Damage as an attribute, it will add 15% more damage on top of your normal damage every time you score a critical hit.
Example: If your spell normally deals 500 damage, and you have +20% Critical Damage from your equipment, a critical hit will result in:
Base Damage (500) + Critical Bonus (20%) = 600 total damage
This works for all attack types, including spells and runes!
Combination: Since Critical Chance scales with rarity, and Critical Damage comes from the item's attribute value, the combination of both makes high-rarity items extremely valuable for maximizing burst damage.
Example Setup:
- Epic weapon: +7% Critical Chance (from rarity)
- +20% Critical Damage (from attribute)
Whenever you trigger a critical hit with this setup, you will deal 20% extra damage on top of your base damage, regardless of whether it’s physical or magical damage.
Equip Effects
When an item with skill-related attributes is equipped (like +Sword Skill or +Max Mana), the bonus is automatically applied to your character through conditions. These effects are removed when the item is unequipped.
Special Notes
- Only specific weapons and armors can roll attributes. Some items are excluded (e.g., Rainbow Shield, Dawnbreaker weapons).
- Stackable items, runes, and consumables do not receive attributes.
- Rarity, description, and bonuses are displayed directly in the item tooltip.
